How can you tell the difference between an ODU versus a Fischer connector and/or cable?

Several ways! The easiest & quickest ways are by visual inspection – either by the cable color or pin count. ODU cables are grey in color, whereas Fischer cables are black in color. Another way is by looking more closely at the cable ports. ODU cables & components have eight (8) pins, whereas Fischer cables & components have five (5) pins.

Yes! Lift offer a manurfacturers warranty.

The manufacturer’s limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period.

During the warranty period, we’ll replace, at no extra charge*, products or parts of a product that proves defective because of improper material or workmanship, under normal use and maintenance.

*Customer is responsible for all shipping costs.

What happens if I run low on battery while riding the eFoil?

The eFoil hand controller will automatically throttle you back to a low power setting, to help you to get back to shore safely.

How hard is it to ride an eFoil?

People who have any experience surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding and/or foiling will quickly be able to master the Lift eFoil.

For those with no experience, don’t worry. It’s very easy to learn how to use the Lift eFoil. We have specifically designed a system that is easy to use and fun for all types of levels- from beginners to advanced riders.

Who can use a Lift eFoil?

We recommend the eFoil for persons ages 16 years and older. Larger people are capable of riding a Lift eFoil, but our factory recommendations for most of our boards are 100 lbs. – 250 lbs. Our Cruiser board is built to handle riders up to 275 pounds comfortably.

How much maintenance does the Lift eFoil require?

Our components and cables are triple sealed from moisture and composed of high quality corrosion resistant materials requiring little to no maintenance.

The most important maintenance is to regularly inspect your board for damages that could have occurred after wipeouts and/or regular use. Proper cleaning with fresh water and storage outside the sun after use is also advised.

The fantastic new Lift Jet system is a great option for ultimate safety - but has slightly less toque than standard propellors - which will be most relevant to rider using the efoil to tow other foiler. A govenor setting of 4 on a standard prop equates to 8 on the Jet Lift. Anyone who never rides a standard prop with a govenor setting above 7 is going to be fully dialled riding on a Lift Jet on govenor 14.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can email us anytime at help@efoiluk.com but we’ll e-mail you directly with scheduling updates. most standard colour options are available for immediate dispatch from UK inventory, some custom metallic options have a 4- 6 week lead time. We can help you with these details within the order process.

What forms of payment do you accept?

These are high value items and our preferred payment method is to invoice you for payment via bank transfer. We do also accept all major credit cards, debit cards but only for items under £1,500. For fraud protection orders above this value require payment by bank transfer.
